Join the Genomics Education Programme (GEP) on Monday 28th June 2021 as they launch their fourth Genomics Conversation week of action campaign. Aimed at the nursing, midwifery and health visiting community, the week is an opportunity for the programme to demonstrate how relevant genomics is in practice today.
A survey carried out in 2020 revealed that there is an appetite for more educational opportunities in genomics but that people lack the time to learn more or feel genomics is too technical and/or not relevant.
Throughout the course of the week the GEP will show that genomics can be accessible, is relevant and that it IS possible to learn the fundamentals in a short time frame through its free resources, courses and tools. Further details will be available in the coming weeks on the GEP website and via social media; look out for the GEP on Twitter and Facebook.
